A LETTER FROM
Hello from someone who has been right where you are!
I am passionate about listening to your dreams and giving you exactly what you want for your event industry needs. I have spent over two decades building relationships with clients and vendors. It is my purpose.
I am originally from Indiana and my first love was the stage. When I was 8 years old, I took center court next to Michael Jordan and sang the national anthem for a stadium filled with strangers. I was always performing when I was young, I loved it! I was a TV host for Inside Silvertown and I was always performing somewhere. I was “Dorothy” in the Wizard of Oz over a period of 10 years and “Belle” in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Indianapolis Civic Theatre.
I also love volunteering. If someone needs help, I am there! In 2004, I was Miss Indiana and traveled to Atlantic City, representing my Hoosiers on the Miss America stage where I won a talent award, paid my way through college and gained valuable life lessons that have molded me into the person I am today.
Moving to Nashville was a big choice in my life but I knew for some reason, I belonged here. I left everyone I loved and everything I knew in Indiana. I left the spotlight and sought a career where I could be the person who makes everything happen, but the focus was on the clients. It was their time to shine and it was my mission to make them shine bright!
I love what I get to do every day. I have been honored to plan and execute over 600 weddings and proposals, made over 4,000 bouquets, 20,000 arrangements and served over 500,000 guests across the United States. My work has been featured in Buzz Feed, Popsurgar, MSN Lifestyle, The Huffington Post, Every Last Detail, Wedding Chicks, Desiree Hartsock, Southern Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes and Borrowed and Blue. I have also been fortunate to have won several industry awards including best planner and florist in Nashville and an Industry Leader for Smart Meeting Magazine.
Yes, all of that is wonderful but my greatest work is found in my three daughters. They are why I work so hard. My hope is that one day they will be proud of their Mom who fought through the ups and downs in life and made the choice to keep going...and thrive.
My favorite moment on a wedding day is one that very few get to see. When a bride is standing behind the closed doors, waiting to take her first step down the aisle, I can’t help but think of all the steps in her life that led to this one. In that moment, there is joy.
It would be an honor to serve you.
